
The students practice on each other as well. In the normal classroom settings, there are hospital beds and medical mannequins that the students are able to practice with. The classrooms are designed to feel like you are working in an actual hospital so that our students get used to being in that environment from the time they start training until they graduate. This area is where the nursing students take classes using state-of-the-art equipment.

If the office is open then you should ask a staff member for assistance, or if you have any specific questions you can ask them. There are active classes that go on during the day and when they are not in use then the classrooms are locked. There will be another set of double-doors that lead you into the Nursing Department. If you walk out of the double-doors in the Academic Services Lobby and continue straight down the hallway then make a slight right. I am graduating soon and I can’t wait for that moment when I get to walk across the stage. After I finished the Pre-Nursing program I went into Health Science with an option in Administration and Management and a minor in Business Administration. I started CSU East Bay as a freshman, one of the first on this campus, and I went through the Pre-Nursing program. I would like to tell you just a little about myself before we start the tour.
